This mark is located at the nape (behind the neck).
The white cross symbolizes purity and innocence, which is the innermost being-- one whose heart is untainted by malice and darkness. And yet it is bound by a red rose with thorns. Such represent the lust for beauty and power, which in turn has a double-edge sword effect-- by achieving something, one must sacrifice another.
In each corner, there are leaflets surrounding the seal which serve as its shield or protector. These are phases or forms in which the medium utilizes to withhold the darkness lurking deep within. Such darkness is the same matter which seals the bearer's true nature as well.
